Situated in the Green valley area of the Ontario state in Canada, the Gananoque is a small town in Leeds. The Lawrence river is the most popular tourists attraction in this city with many of the Islanders                      (visitors termed coming over there) mainly in the summers. At the southern end the Lawrence river act as a boundary to this city while the Gananoque river has pathways in between the city. This river thing is the main attraction and the beauty aspect of the city. That is why the Gananoque name is derived from term that specifically mean “town with two rivers”.

What the area got as specific highlight is its main pathways and the rivers it has with one other prominent aspect of these rivers serving as gateways to the thousand islands, that is just path away from the Lawrence river touching southern side of the city. Other popular highlights of the city includes the boat drives to the Thousand City islands, the live theaters, the museums, the festive celebrations at the Thousand Island light house etc.
