Fergus city is a constituent of the Wellington Country in the Ontario state Canada. This is the largest community over there. On the Grand River side, the Fergus city is 18kilometers of the Guelph. The community is fast growing with many new homes and townships being constructed over there for the immigrants. Previously the city was an independent one but back in 1999 the Fergus city and the Elora got merged in the Wellington territory.
He country house industry of the Fergus city formed back in 1877 the it was termed as the poor house formed on the road between Fergus and Elora. Later with the development and growth for the poor housing society today now it has been extinct as a museum place.
The city is famous for the Scottish Festival and Highland games that are the favorite activity of the natives over there. Other popular tourist attractions include the Celtic Music events and pipe band competition that are highly participative for the people coming over to the city from the near by localities.
